Less I say the better, it's messed up.īe careful, there were a series of rape incidents in the last years near the dairy Barn that never made the news.311 was formed in Omaha, Nebraska by singer/guitarist Nick Hexum, singer S.A. Seriously, I used to do a lot of work with those people, City and State. Then they can get back to sleeping and drinking on the job. It's just another bump in the year where unqualified people, usually hired through nepotism have to look like they are stepping up to do their actual job. We don't actually give AF here in NM about things going safely, or smoothly. It's a joke, especially when City has to work with State. Tip, if you "know someone" just ask, and you could also get hired to do all the "important" work. I swear it's so corrupt! Even worse, if you try to improve things, you might mess with their kickbacks, and you will be threatened. I've worked for the City on the outside and heard every day, yes every day horror stories about people never showing up but getting paid, having sex in their offices, trying to get people fired who were ambitious and smarter, etc. To answer, it would be those "civil engineers" or "planners" that are employed by the City.Įmployees that never had to do anything but be a cousin or family member to get hired.Įmployees who are immune to getting called up for horrible behavior and lying on their resumes in order to get in. Super thoughtful and well written comment. But, seriously, who designed this clusterfuck?! I’ve learned, in September, and from mid-November to Christmas, to just take surface streets to get home. Now, at State Fair time, traffic piles up on I-40 to exit southbound and, at holiday shopping time, traffic piles up on I-40 to exit northbound, sometimes, literally backing up on I-40 to the San Mateo exit! It’s seriously dangerous as traffic at freeway speeds suddenly slams on their collective brakes to deal with cars at a dead stop on the freeway. Why, oh why, did they mess with the Louisiana exit on I-40? It used to be that there was simply a cloverleaf for traffic to travel onto a dedicated lane to northbound Louisiana, no need to wait at a traffic light, and a dedicated lane for traffic to exit onto southbound Louisiana. I live in Uptown and, when using the freeway, exit at Louisiana to get to my casa, which is roughly at Louisiana and Candelaria. I’m just chiming in to essentially agree with all these comments and to add my own little complaint. So sorry to hear that you were badly treated by CABQ bus system. I don't think that's ever been done before, but it would solve lots of problems. Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity will host a large booth the entire eleven days of this years fair, from 10. When: Thursday, September 7 to Sunday, September 17, 2023. That way two buses won't arrive at a station at the same time. Where: Expo New Mexico, (formerly New Mexico State Fairgrounds) Albuquerque NM. Instead of bus routes, they should just use GPS to stagger whatever buses are operational into even time segments.

I think they should just abandon bus schedules altogether because clearly, they don't have enough bus drivers. But that is sooooo typical about the way the bus system here works.or doesn't work. I just waited 10 minutes and an empty ART bus arrived. The bus was packed with people and I refused to get on it. In reflection, there was one time that I was not able to get on an ART bus (they stopped calling them Rapid Ride buses, ages ago). The bus never arrived and I eventually had to call a Lyft. I got stuck there for two mortal hours, waiting for the #8 bus to get me to Menaul & Virginia, so that I could pick up my car at the mechanic's. Yes, that uptown transit center area can be very unnerving.
